Dunkley Sensei began his martial arts career Studying Kempo Karate in 1996 in Northampton.  In 2008 he gained the rank of Shodan, and is still currently training.

In 2005, Dunkley Sensei joined the ISF and began training in Shinkendo and Aikibujutsu under Shepherd Sensei.  He has since gained the instructor ranks of Kenshuin in both.

Dunkley Sensei has had the pleasure of training under Obata Kaiso on a number of occasions and continues to learn under the guidance of Shepherd Sensei.
